All folders become short cut

Hello friends ,
After a long gap, its very nice to meet you again. Two day before my brother was very upset, actually the thumb drive/ pen drive which he was using infected, all the folders become short cut and showing only 2kb size he was afraid that all the important data which he collected for his thesis gone and now he have to do it again.

               If you guys also facing the same problem then don’t worry about it. its a virus and you can recover your data very easily

just type run-----> then “cmd”  then "enter".

in command line select the thumb drive let your thumb drive is "G:\"drive then type "cd\"then "enter" --- > then "g:" then "enter" then just type a simple command "attrib -r -a -s -h /s /d" and press "enter".

Check it u recovered all the lost data :-) now delete all the temp file and enjoy the computing good luck :-)

    

Not able to open the Disk Drive in Double Click

Hi Friends,

Today I am going to discuss a common problem, which i think every computer user faces. This problem comes surprisingly you also don’t how it comes but if it comes then it create a big headache for the normal window xp computer user.

Now come to the point , I am discussing about the situation when your computer heard drive suddenly stops responding on double click, Instead of opening the drive it is giving an option “Open With”, now the problem starts …Please check the picture . Problem will look like this, when you double click to the infected drive:-

·         This problem is because some micellaneous program is running inside your program without your permission

·         Causes of this is not using proper antivirus.

·         That intruder comes by using Flash drive carelessly or by internet while downloading  something from unsecure website.

·         That intruder file may be autorun.inf file that file can be system file, read only file and hidden file .

Any way don’t worry about that problem   to remove this problem please follow these steps: -

1.       Click on “Start”

2.       Go to “Run”

3.       Type indie Run “cmd” and click enter

4.        Type ” cd\ “

5.        Type “attrib -r -h -s autorun.inf”

6.       Type “del autorun.inf”

7.       Now type “d:”or “c:” means name of your drive which is giving problem.

8.       Restart your PC and Trouble will be fixed

Data base Management SQL Server 2005

 Backup of Database in SQL Server 2005

On Database Name (For Ex: CTH_CATALOG) Right click then select Tasks then Backup..(under this window) go to Backup set will expire After On (select this) and click Remove button & choose destination on any of the folder on computer to save the file.

Installation Steps in Client place in Server:-

1. IIS – check IIS is installed or not, for that go to control panel in that Add/Remove programs in that Add/Remove Windows Components in that IIS checkbox should be checked, otherwise install IIS through windows XP service pack 2 CD.

4. SQL CD 2
5. .NET Framework
6. Crystal Report
7. AJAX
8. IE7

In run command

Type inetmgr in that select local computer under that there will be Web Sites (right click) select properties in that select ASP.NET tab there we can find .Net Framework versions as  1 .0 or 2.0.

To create user (for ex: admin) login in Database:

Go to Security under that select Logins Right Click on that select New Login one window will come give Login Name in textbox and then select SQL Server Authentication radio button, after that give password then check Enforce password policy checkbox Next select Server Roles which will be on the left side (top) of the window, here check all checkbox’s.

Giving permissions to ODBC:-

In run command

Type regedit after this go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE (in this select) Software (in this select) ODBC (in this select)  ODBC.INI Right click select permissions then click Add button one window will come in that click Advanced button then one window will come in that select click Find Now button there select Everyone and give permissions.

ODBC Names:-

Test: 2JBR-MTP2-6MAS-3HAJ-DZHE-7KC7-VXInventory: (It should be any key its depend on you what key you are giving)

How to set Database backup for 1 day.

Go to Management under that Management plans

right click then select Management Plan Wizard      click Next enter Name in Name textbox then select

SQL Server Authentication enter username & password then click Next then select   Back Up Database (Full) checkbox

then click Next and Next once again one window will come then select Databases (it will be in dropdown list) under that These Databases (radio button) select the Database name click OK, we can select the desired path which ever we want create under a checkbox (sub-directory for each database) then click Next one window will open then click Change button under that give the Job Schedule name and under Frequency select Occurs dropdownlist (select Daily) then finally click OK.

Virus Worms and Trojans Definatioin

Virus:- 

 Viruses are malicious files that attached themselves to a host file and depend on it for propagation across devices. Viruses do not have the capability to spread and infect devices on their own.

A virus could attach itself to a document file. When the infected file or document is transferred to another device, virus also get copied.

Worms

Like virus worms are also malicious files that cause harm to the target device, The main difference between virus and worm is that worm have their own mechanism for transmission and infection purpose they have ability to  automatically transmit itself.

Trojans

Trojans are malicioius files that can be best described as worms which can be used for carrying out harmful activities on target device.The main difference between Trojans and Worms is that Trojansrequire the user to explicitly install them on target device.  

Special key on your key board "Scroll Lock Key"

          Today I wanted to share one intresting thing with all of you . I am talking about a Your’s  Keybord’s key yes its in your keyboard as well it’s a “Scroll Lock”  placed right side of the key board check the picture daily you  peoples see that and ignore it but do u know the use of that key?

The Scroll lock only temporary stop the stop the scrolling the text , For better understanding you can use a MS Excel Sheet. Please Follow The Steps.

1.   First open Microsoft excel sheet

2.   Enable  enable the scroll lock of key board

3.   Ehen you press the arrow key the screen of your opened excel sheet will move in that direction but the selectedcell will not change.
